I so wanted to enjoy this book being fascinated and comforted by Buddhism and an admirer of the Dalai Lama This was just too dense for me though full of Tibetan Buddhism theory on the nature of nothingness and with explanations of such matters as dependant arising and ways to focus during meditation including focusing on the imminence of one's own death perhaps fine if you are completely comfortable with the idea of cycles of rebirth less cheery if notThis is a book for people who already have a good grasp of Buddhist theory as something of a beginner it was a little too difficult for me
